Q: Why do I have to fill out an application?
A: The MOMS Club® of Kingsport, TN is part of an international organization with some requirements but also you may notice the information you review and the policies you sign are for the safety of your children and the environments you will visit. The information you share will remain in the club.

Q: Why do I have to pay dues?
A:
The majority of our money goes toward our service projects, which help women and children in our community. We also pay dues per each of our members to the international organization, pay taxes, and have fees for our meeting space and other administrative costs. The $25 you pay one time per year also goes towards advertising our club to other Moms such as the website, rack cards, business cards, public events, etc.. A portion of our budget is also allotted for club activities & parties. All budget activity is voted on and discussed at the All Member Meeting.

Q: When do most of your activities take place?
A: Most of our activities take place during work hours so as not to interfere with "family time" with the exception of one family event and one Mom's Night Out per month that may occur in the evening or weekend.

Q: What kind of things do you do?
A: We do activities for all ages in all different types of settings in Kingsport and surrounding areas.
Ranging from chatting about books over coffee to informational speakers to swimming to play dates at members' homes. All planning takes place at the All Member Meeting and members often host and/or request events based on their schedules and preferences.

Q: How can I get more involved?
A: Attending the All Member Meeting is crucial to making the club exactly what you want! Beyond that we have various committees for planning bigger events as well as positions managing things like Meal Train, Babysitting Co Op, Playgroup Captain and many more! Just ask any board member!
